Adam Douglas Driver (born November 19, 1983 in San Diego, California) is an actor who guest-starred on Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He also appeared as Adam Sackler in the HBO series Girls with Alex Karpovsky and Ebon Moss-Bachrach and as Kylo Ren (Ben Solo) in the Star Wars sequel trilogy of films (Episode VII: The Force Awakens, Episode VIII: The Last Jedi and Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker) with John Boyega, Greg Grunberg, and Oscar Isaac, who was also his co-star in Inside Llewyn Davis.
He also appears in the films This Is Where I Leave You, The Report (both movies with Corey Stoll), and Marriage Story (with Merritt Wever, Azhy Robertson, and Julie Hagerty).
In 2021, Driver appeared as Maurizio Gucci, the son of Rodolfo Gucci (Jeremy Irons) and the head of the fashion house Gucci in the upcoming American biographical crime drama House of Gucci, directed by Ridley Scott, who also directed Driver in the epic historical drama film The Last Duel (with Matt Damon, Jodie Comer, and Harriet Walter) as Jacques Le Gris. He also starred on the musical drama movie Annette.
Driver married his longtime partner Joanne Tucker in June 22, 2013. The couple have a son, whose birth they kept private from the press for two years. They live in the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood of New York City with their son and dog Moose.
Driver is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He is the founder of Arts in the Armed Forces, a non-profit that provides free arts programming to American active-duty service members, veterans, military support staff, and their families around the world.
