Aimé Donna Kelly is an actress who stars on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Captain Renee Curry. She previously starred in a recurring role from the twenty-second season to the twenty-sixth season before joining the main cast in the twenty-seventh season.
Kelly was also a theatre educator based in New York. She earned a BFA in Acting from the University of the Arts and an MA in Arts Management & Entrepreneurship from The New School. Kelly has been a committed mentor and adjunct faculty member at institutions including Marymount Manhattan College and is a long-time company member with Epic Theatre Ensemble.
On stage, she has performed in notable Off‑Broadway productions like Exit Strategy and Macbeth, and in regional works such as Father Comes Home from the Wars at the Goodman Theatre, Byhalia, Mississippi at the Kennedy Center, and The Dangerous House of Pretty Mbane, which earned her a Barrymore nomination. She has also appeared in Chicago Med, another Dick Wolf production, Blue Bloods, The Sinner, Iron Fist, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
