Uni Al McCutcheon is an assailant who beat up pedophile and suspected double rapist Edwin Adelson after lying his way into the SVU precinct and finding Adelson in custody.

As mentioned by the detectives, he was a cop for campus security. McCutcheon has a daughter named Karla and she would have a friend over all the time. McCutcheon signed up for the COAP tweets and learned of a pedophile preying on little girls, including a friend of his daughter.

McCutcheon caught wind that SVU had a suspect in custody and letting his anger cloud his judgment, he lied his way into the SVU precinct to say he was there for a transfer. He attacked the detained Adelson after demanding the latter admit his crimes. This was witnessed by Detectives Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler, as well as caused the other officers to pull McCutcheon off Adelson. A protesting McCutcheon tried to justify his actions, as he was taken away while Adelson was bruised and bloodied from his assault. Captain Donald Cragen admonished him for his unprofessional actions, as he apologized and stated he targeted Adelson because one of the victims was a friend of his daughter's. Cragen soon tells him he just ruined his career, as he realizes this and reveals he discovered the crimes from an online site. The circumstances of the beating prompted a judge to release Adelson on bail and had the detectives stop COAP from making more tweets, to prevent another attack on a perpetrator.
McCutcheon was most likely arrested on an assault charge, convicted, and given the minimum sentence. (SVU: "Bullseye")
