Alan Lovitz is a construction piping salesman and the stalker of teenage tennis pro Korey Burke. He tried to break into the locker room to see her, as well as kept a shrine of Korey at his home.
When Korey was beaten in her wrist, effectively ending her career, Lovitz was a suspect after threatening letters and phone calls were given to detectives, and his arrest for the burglary was found out. He denied being the assailant and offered himself for a lineup. When Korey confirmed he wasn’t the attacker, Lovitz was released.
Lovitz was completely cleared of suspicion when he had an alibi another threatening letter was left for Korey, clearing him as a suspect in the harassing messages and assault. (L&O: “Doubles”)
