IMDb profile

Alana De La Garza is an actress who is known for her portrayal of A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa in Law & Order. She replaced cast member Annie Parisse (Alexandra Borgia) as the series A.D.A. starting with the Season 17 episode "Fame". After the cancelation of Law & Order, she continued to play Rubirosa in Law & Order: LA after a midseason cast reshuffle. She then reprised the role in the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Jersey Breakdown".

Along with Jerry Orbach, Dann Florek, Chris Noth, and Fred Dalton Thompson, she is one of five Law & Order cast members who later joined the regular cast of one of the spin-off series.

Before Law & Order, De la Garza had starred on the short-lived show The Mountain (with Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi). After Law & Order: LA, she went on to star on the shows Forever (with Judd Hirsch and Lorraine Toussaint) and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (with Tyler James Williams).

She portrayed Isobel Castille in Dick Wolf's CBS drama series FBI with Missy Peregrym, John Boyd, Kathleen Munroe, Charlotte Sullivan, and her former Law & Order co-star Jeremy Sisto. She also reprises her FBI character in FBI: Most Wanted (with Dylan McDermott) and FBI: International (with Luke Kleintank).

De la Garza married her long-time boyfriend, Michael Roberts, a writer, on May 31, 2008, in Orlando, Orange County, Florida. They have a son and a daughter. Alana is a distant cousin of TV writer-producer René Balcer, sharing a common relative Juan Cortina, a Mexican folk hero known as the Rio Grande Robin Hood.
