Albi Briscu is an Albanian mobster who is the final remnant of an old-school crime syndicate and serves as the underboss of crime boss Jon Kosta.
History[]
Reggie introduced Albi to Stabler, who was undercover as Eddie Wagner, in the boxing gym. When Albi first met Stabler, he didn't trust Stabler and didn't want him to be apart of the organization but Stabler was determined to get on his good side. (OC: "The Man With No Identity")
Stabler found out that Albi murdered a man named Tristan Vucaj because Albi was having an affair with him and didn't want anybody, especially Kosta, to find out he was gay. When Albi found out that Stabler knew, Albi kidnapped Stabler and attempted to murder him. However, Stabler told him that he can trust him and nobody would find out his secret and if Albi asks him to forget it, he will forget it. Albi earned Stabler's trust, which resulted in Stabler officially becoming a member of the organization. (OC: "The Outlaw Eddie Wagner")
Albi became suspicious of Reggie Bogdani when he wouldn't answer his phone and ordered Stabler to murder him, unaware until later on when Violet Brooks informed Albi and Kosta that Reggie was in police custody. After murdering Violet, both him and Kosta decided to flee and hide. (OC: "High Planes Grifter")
Following a violent hostage standoff between Stabler and Albi in which Albi held his boyfriend Kevin hostage, Albi was finally arrested for his several crimes and was taken to court, where he was found guilty and sent to prison, putting an end to the Kosta Organization once for and for all. He showed an extreme amount of hatred to Stabler before the trial started, making insulting noises aimed at him, which Stabler ignored. (OC: "Ashes To Ashes")
