Ali Hossam is an Egyptian citizen partnered with Charles Cole in a jihadist bombing of a synagogue and shelter.
History[]
Hossam knew the other two accomplices, Joe Darwish and Sam Ahmed, from the masque they all went to. Sam committed virtual kidnappings to provide funds for their plots but was arrested when a family member killed someone out of mistaken identity from the scam. Sam worked as an informant to record the trio in their plan, providing their records and backgrounds.
The four of them gathered near the synagogue the night the bombing was to go down, with fake C-4 yet real detonators provided by an undercover Bernard. When the police surrounded them, Cole wanted the explosives set off in the car, but Hossam and Darwish surrendered. They were all arrested, but another terrorist and former affiliate of Cole, Arthur Jackson, detonated his own bomb with his own squad, using the detonators the police left in Cole's hands.
That and Sam giving Darwish drugs to get him to come to the attempt nearly got the case thrown out, but when Sam was blackmailed with deportation for a crime before he was an American citizen, he stepped up and told the truth about the plots. Hossam was found guilty with the rest of the defendants and imprisoned, Cole taking a plea to sell Jackson out. (L&O: "Great Satan")
