Amy Spanger (born 24 August 1971; age 54) is an actress from Newbury, Massachusetts who guest-starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the episode "PTSD" as Marlene Rosten, and in the episode "Great Expectations" as Helen Turner.
Spanger's television credits include: Ed, Becker, Egg: The Arts Show, Six Feet Under, Law And Order: SVU, Michael and Michael Have Issues, and Bored to Death. She also starred in the Showtime original movie musical Reefer Madness (2005) with Steven Weber, as the promiscuous Sally.
She appeared in Synecdoche, New York (2008) with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Dianne Wiest, written and directed by Charlie Kaufman.
She was the first wife of Six Feet Under and Dexter star, actor Michael C. Hall, whom she married on May 1, 2002, he played Billy Flynn opposite her Roxie Hart in the Broadway musical Chicago, the summer after their wedding. The couple separated in 2005 and filed for divorce in 2006. She later married Brian Shepard in 2011.
