Andre Haslum is the nephew of Emily Huntford, the husband of Calista Haslum, and the father of Emma Haslum. Emma died from Callista leaving her in a hot car by accident. Andre wanted to protect Calista, so he buried Emma at one of Emily’s properties. He then pretended Emma was still alive and made Calista play along.
When Emily wanted to meet Calista, Andre pretended Emma was kidnapped. The truth came out when detectives realized the Haslum house was barely baby proof, the toys and supplies barely used. Callista was encouraged to remember, and she confessed to endangering Emma, realizing she killed her baby and Andre deceived her.
Andre was arrested and found guilty of fraud, hindering prosecution, and accessory to manslaughter and was imprisoned. (CI: "Folie à Deux")
