Andrew Hingham is an escaped teenage mental patient who evaded being raped by presiding psychiatrist Fran Stanton.

History[]

When he was born his four older siblings were out of the house, with his father Phil leaving for California because he couldn't bear to raise another child. Andrew had a strained relationship with his mother, as she was exhausted from raising her other children causing him to feel depressed and be required to see a psychiatrist when he was twelve. Andrew saw Fran Stanton, who took advantage of his vulnerability and sexually abused him for years until she fell pregnant with his child.

Unable to bear raising a child and being pressured by Stanton, he fell behind in school and was sent to summer school where he met a girl named Mallory Sidwell who he fell for and it was reciprocated. They became a couple, pursuing a sexual relationship. However, Stanton had gave birth to his son and filled with jealously towards Mallory, filed a false report of rape on Andrew and told Sidwell's parents about her status as the "victim", further holding him captive in Stanton's regimens and separating Hingham and Sidwell from each other.

Andrew was subsequently given dosages everyday and was sent to group seminars where he met and befriended Ken Randall who related to him because he had a strained relationship with his father.

He met street hustler Jack Robinson and started being his accomplice in cons. At another con at a wedding reception, Robinson got inebriated and tried to orally rape Andrew, causing Andrew to have a post traumatic episode and kill Robinson by pushing him back, causing him to hit his head. Andrew panicked and beat Robinson's face in and left his own wallet to prevent himself from being found.

He was found eventually after a failed attempt to take him into custody, where he suffered a manic episode and gave a full confession to Ken before he could get legal representation. However, he was released on bail by Fran who medicated him and Detective Odafin Tutuola and FBI agent Dr. George Huang found Andrew spiraling from the drugs and heard the baby crying.

When Andrew revealed his time with Stanton but did not out her, Detective Olivia Benson informed him about how Stanton gave a false rape accusation on him to keep him from his girlfriend, the alleged "victim". Distraught, he informed the detectives of how Stanton abused him and her pregnancy, which led to her being arrested. In the end, he was fully exonerated and Stanton was convicted and imprisoned, with Andrew being given custody of his son and being reunited with Mallory and his mother. At Stanton's sentence, he heard her final statement that didn't directly admit her guilt and cried after she said she would wait for him. (SVU: "Conned")
