Law and Order

Anthony Biscotti was a Masucci Crime Family hitman.

History[]

In 1994, Libretti and Frederico Libretti murdered journalist Robert Parenti, who was part of an unpaid labor contract with the Masucci crime family, after he repeatedly complained about how little money he was receiving. After his murder, the two accomplices cast his body in the concrete of a bridge in lower Manhattan that was under construction at the time, gaining access to the site through their legal work as construction workers. The ADA representing the accusation was Daniel Tenofsky. The two mobsters' attorney, William Wachtler, knew that Tenofsky was actually a failed law student named Jacob Deiter who had assumed the identity of one of his classmates, Daniel Tenofskie, and blackmailed him into freeing his clients. Deiter brought the case back to trial and stripped the evidence from the case.

Ten years later, knowing that the bridge where Parenti's body was stored was going to be renovated and that he would be found, Biscotti, Libretti, and Wachtler also killed Deiter once the restoration of the bridge where Parenti was buried was complete, thus eliminating Deiter as a witness. They later accused crime boss Franco Tortomassi of ordering the assassination of Parenti, but Tortomassi was innocent of the crime; the job offer scam was run exclusively by Biscotti and Libretti, and it only served as a pretext for the defendants to obtain plea deals. Biscotti, Libretti, and Wachtler were arrested for the crimes they were responsible for. (L&O: "Nowhere Man")
