Austin Drake is a member of the Bishop Club, a final club at Hudson University.

History[]

Austin led a clandestine plan to target college women by seducing them to a dinner at the Bishop Club, a final club at Hudson University with a buried, historic misogyny not let outside its walls. After the routine of taking them on the bus ride that would privately lead them to the doors of the club, the members and guests were all seated for dinner, where the drink of a student named Annabel Nelson was spiked. The drug started to take effect when she was walking up the stares to a ceremonial room, where at that point Austin and several other members pinned Annabel down on a bed, Austin raping her while the group painted woman-hating messages all over her naked body. Annabel was so horrified and felt violated after what she witnessed and remembered in her lucidity that night, she took a shower and scrubbed herself completely of the rape and vandalism of her body that night.

After Mia Morino called her uncle Dominick Carisi, Jr. and notified him about Annabel's rape, Annabel told Olivia Benson and Amanda Rollins the entire story about what happened that night at the Bishop Club including when Austin took her upstairs after she became drunk. Annabel claimed that she passed out but when she woke up Austin was raping her while two guys held her down. At the precinct, Odafin Tutuola and Rollins speak with Austin and they end up speaking with Austin, Brad and Jacob. The three boys started to blame the girls claiming that they hate men. The next day, Rollins and Fin find a photo of Detective Andy Parlato-Goldstein on the wall of the Bishop Club and find out he was a member of the club while he was at Hudson.

Later, Parlato-Goldstein goes undercover at the Bishop Club with gifts. Parlato-Goldstein sits on the throne and witnesses the boys admit to rape in the first degree. As a result, they are all arrested by the squad. After Carisi manages to find a way to charge the rapes they committed as a hate crime, Jacob speaks with the detectives and gives up Austin's involvement. Jacob claimed that he and Brad watched while Austin raped her. Later, Parlato-Goldstein and Carisi speak with Austin and his attorney, Elana Barth. During interrogation, Barth mocks Parlato-Goldstein for his previous connections to the Bishop Club. Parlato-Goldstein wasn't fazed by this, pointing out that the Bishop Club of the past didn't target girls for rape. In response to this, Austin makes bigoted comments to Parlato-Goldstein, until Barth stops him and Carisi threatens to reintroduce hate crime charges if he continues. Eventually, Austin was charged for Annabel's rape, and the Bishop Club is dissolved. (SVU: "Promising Young Gentlemen")
