Barbara Barrie is an actress who played two different characters in Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She played the role of Mrs. Bream in the L&O Season 2 episode "Vengeance", and Paula Haggerty in the SVU Season 4 episode "Perfect".
Barrie was nominated for an Oscar for her role in Breaking Away (1979). She also starred on the first two seasons (1975-76) of ABC's police-themed comedy, Barney Miller (with Hal Linden, Steve Landesberg, and Abe Vigoda), as Elizabeth Miller, wife of the titular character and as Helen 'Nana' Keane on the sitcom Suddenly Susan (with Brooke Shields, Nestor Carbonell, Kathy Griffin, Currie Graham, and Rob Estes).
