Summary[]

- This is the first time in the Law & Order franchise that only one main character has appeared in a single episode. This episode subsequently set the record for the least number of main characters appearing in an episode, which was previously held by the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episodes "Reparations" and "Carousel".
- Bell and Randall Stabler's voices are heard on Elliot's answering machine. Randall also calls Vargas later in the episode, with Elliot finding out about their search for Joseph Stabler, Jr.
