Benjamin Bratt is an actor who is known for playing Detective Rey Curtis in Law & Order. In 1999, he was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his work on the series. His character replaced Detective Mike Logan (Chris Noth) on Law & Order. Bratt first appeared in the Season 6 episode "Bitter Fruit".
He also appeared in the franchise's only movie, "Exiled: A Law & Order Movie", and in the Homicide: Life on the Street crossover episodes "For God and Country", "Baby, It's You: Part 2", and "Sideshow: Part 2".
Bratt has also starred on ABC's Private Practice as Dr. Jake Reilly (with Kate Walsh, Paul Adelstein, Tim Daly, Audra McDonald, KaDee Strickland, and Taye Diggs) and in the film Miss Congeniality (with Candice Bergen). He also had a recurring role on the sitcom Modern Family and voiced Superman in the film Justice League: Gods and Monsters (with Paget Brewster and Tamara Taylor).
