Bernadette Peters is an actress who played Stella Danquiss in the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit season 8 episode "Choreographed".
Peters received a Golden Globe for her role in Pennies From Heaven (1981). She was also nominated for Emmy Awards for her guest-starring roles on the comedy Ally McBeal (2001), and The Muppet Show (1977), along with a Daytime Emmy Award, Outstanding Performer in a Children's Special, for her work in the made-for-television movie Bobbie's Girl and the 2003 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her role in Gypsy (with Tammy Blanchard) as Rose (a role played in other productions by Angela Lansbury and Patti LuPone). She starred on the Amazon TV series Mozart in the Jungle (with Lola Kirke, Saffron Burrows, and Malcolm McDowell) and in the film The Jerk.
