Bernanda Menendez was a gangster in the Duran Gang.
History[]
Bernanda was once a race driver who got imprisoned for her involvement in drugs sales, she sat 2 years in prison and gained a degree while inside; she was the one who orchestrated the kidnapping of Sherie Alvarez.
She met with Chaz about moving Sherie but Bernanda told Chaz that if she kills her, then Tino will talk. Bernanda then just told Chaz to move Sherie and get her out of the way. After Chaz gets arrested by Elliot Stabler and Bobby Reyes, Cristobal brings Sherie to Bernanda who tells Cristobal about Chaz's arrest. Bernanda then told Cristobal to find another driver while she takes care of Sherie. After Jamie Whelan goes undercover as a street racer to infiltrate the gang, Cristobal meets Whelan while sitting in a cell. Cristobal then becomes friendly with Whelan and introduces her to Bernanda. Bernanda then takes Cristobal and Whelan to meet with the big boss. (OC: "Trap")
Bernanda was sure that Duran was in-love with her and that they'll marry and start a family together. She opted to take the lead of the gang when Duran will retire; not knowing he was only using her for sex and planning to leave her to take the fall for him.
After Whelan managed to flip Bernanda into turning on Antonio Duran, Bernanda murdered Duran by shooting him in the chest in front of the cops and his grandson. Bernanda was arrested for murder and taken into custody. (OC: "The Infiltration Game")
