Betty Buckley is an actress who portrays Attorney Walsh as well as Trial Division Chief Lorraine Maxwell on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
She is probably best known for her breakout role as Miss Collins in the Stephen King movie Carrie (with Nancy Allen, Amy Irving, and Piper Laurie) and for her roles as Sandra Bradford in the TV series Eight is Enough, Dixie Scott in Tender Mercies, Sondra Walker in Frantic, Kathy in Another Woman, and Mrs. Jones in The Happening. She received a Saturn Award nomination for her role as Dr. Karen Fletcher in the 2016 film Split (with Neal Huff). Her other television credits include the series Oz (2001–2003), and the series Preacher (2018; with Malcolm Barrett).
