William "Bill" Pullman is an actor who guest-starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the episode "Closet" as Kurt Moss.
He has starred in several movies and TV series such as Spaceballs (with Daphne Zuniga), While You Were Sleeping (with Peter Gallagher), Independence Day (with Adam Baldwin, Jeff Goldblum, Margaret Colin, Judd Hirsch, Brent Spiner, James Rebhorn, and Mae Whitman), Independence Day Resurgence, Scary Movie 4, Casper (with Brad Garrett and Cathy Moriarty), The Equalizer (with Melissa Leo and David Harbour), and The Equalizer 2 (with Leo and Pedro Pascal), and 1600 Penn as President Dale Gilchrist.

Pullman played Oswald Danes, a pedophile and child killer, in Torchwood: Miracle Day, the fourth series of the BBC/Starz Entertainment television show Torchwood (a spinoff to the BBC series Doctor Who), the former of which began airing in July 2011. For his performance as Danes, Pullman received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor on Television.
He plays Detective Harry Ambrose in the USA Network mystery series The Sinner, which premiered in 2017 and aired for four seasons (with Jessica Hecht and Abby Miller).
