Boyd Lynch is a criminal who held ADA Carisi and several other people hostage in a bodega.
History[]
Boyd and his accomplice Deonte Mosley stormed a bodega and took everyone in it hostage. They also trapped Carisi, who came in to ask the shopkeeper Ali Imran a question. The hostage situation was noticed by Captain Benson, who alerted other police officers, including Sergeant Rollins. As time went on, Boyd became increasingly violent and unstable, even taunting Carisi about his wife's job and how Benson was once his boss when he was a police officer. Following Boyd shooting and killing Ali, he dragged one of the hostages, Tess Milburn, into a freezer and raped her, much to Carisi's horror.
Boyd later made a deal with Benson that he would replace Carisi as a hostage with her and that she would accompany him and Deonte to the Solomon Islands where they would make a clean escape. However, when his plan failed, Deonte grew angry with Boyd. Boyd then taunted Deonte, causing Deonte to react angrily and kill Boyd. (SVU: "Cornered")
