Bree Mazelon is the mother of teenage sex offender, murderer, and assailant Hunter Mazelon. She found out his nanny, Ellen Huffner, sexually exploited him in his earlier youth, but she never pressed charges and tried to have Hunter continue his life in hopes he wasn't scarred from his trauma. Hunter grew up to be rebellious and disorderly, even to the point of calling Bree by her first name.
Unfortunately, Hunter would rack up a serial rape record in Oregon, then when he got back to New York, he groped a teacher, attempted to rape a neighbor, and raped and murdered another woman. Bree slapped him when finding out the trouble he was in, yet stood by him when he accused Elliot Stabler of groping him. She was also briefly suspected of molesting him since he targeted older women, but she revealed the truth about Huffner when Hunter was at large and she was devastated to her him drunk over the phone. Hunter was eventually found after killing Huffner and safely taken into custody. (SVU: "Delinquent")
