Quotes[]
- Cragen: Harbor and Aviation know where she floated in from?
- Rollins: No, they said if we know when, they can tell us where. And if we know where, they can tell us when.
- Cragen: That's not as helpful as I'd like
- Dr. Warner: It'd be more helpful if she were dead.
- Tutuola: Melinda, really?
- Dr. Warner: Rigor, a time of death, we could backtrack.
- Wayne Randolph: [reads headline of the New Yorker newspaper: Coma Vic Partied Hard] Is all this stuff true?
- Benson: They're just trying to sell newspapers. You know who your mom is.
- Tutuola: [knocks on door] Santiago Morales!
- Rollins: It's late. He could be asleep, he could be working.
- Tutuola: He is a musician. He's not sleeping and he's damn sure not working.
- Cragen: Call Harbor and Aviation back. See whether they can figure out how she washes ashore Gracie Mansion.
- Tutuola: No need to use them, Captain. That's why I brought my rope guy, Colin Bennett.
- Cragen: So, your rope guide is tide guy?
- Colin Bennett: Ropes, tides, paints, solvents. CSU calls me their renaissance man.
- Cragen: O.K., Michelangelo.
Background information and notes[]
- Cragen asks Rollins about her "wing" (referring to her arm) and she mentions how the physical therapy is a pain, referring to how she had been shot in the shoulder in last episode "Poisoned Motive".
- The victim in this episode is said to be from Edmonton, Alberta. Her two sons are named Wayne and Grant, likely after famed Edmonton Oilers players Wayne Gretzky and Grant Fuhr.
- When Benson and Amaro are investigating Ariel Randolph's hotel room, they put on latex gloves. However, once Amaro discovers her passport, the close-up of Amaro flipping through it shows him without gloves. When the camera shot switches back to the wide angle, Amaro clearly still has gloves on.
- Fin makes a joke about being a musician not sleeping or working at late hours of the night. Actor Ice-T is also known for his music prior to his acting carrer.
