Brooke Adams (born February 8, 1949 in New York City, New York) is an actress who guest-starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the episode "PTSD" as Margo.
She is best known for her roles in the films Days of Heaven, the 1978 film Invasion of the Body Snatchers (with Jeff Goldblum and Veronica Cartwright), and The Dead Zone.
Adams is married to actor Tony Shalhoub, who won three Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his portrayal of Adrian Monk on the USA Network series Monk from 2002-09.
