Bruce Clarkson is the only openly queer (specifically gay) employee at Luscious Grape, speaking highly of boss Annette Cole to the point he received a high-end car as a "bonus". When colleague Ellen Sazelin's death is investigated, it's revealed Cole was personally terrorizing the employees at Luscious Grape, Clarkson always targeted with his homosexuality.
Cole killed herself in front of her subordinates at a live press conference, leaving none of her money to them. It's revealed Clarkson ransacked Sazelin's apartment around the time she died to find a video she made of Cole's abuse, which Sazelin sent to the news and led Cole to the public suicide. Colleague Corinne Stafford then hit him with her grandfather's car and broke his leg over the failure.
