Bruce McGill's television roles include Jack Dalton on MacGyver (1985–1992) and Det. Vince Korsak on Rizzoli & Isles (2010–2016) with Sasha Alexander, Jordan Bridges, Lorraine Bracco, and Angie Harmon. He also appeared in two roles: Ernie 'Weird Ernie' and Al the bartender in both the pilot and the final episode on Quantum Leap with Scott Bakula.
