Law and Order

Bryce Kelton is a rapist and murderer responsible for the rape and death of Lainie McCallum, a neighbor in his apartment.

History[]

Bryce lived across the street from McCallum and regularly peeped at her through a telescope and liked to see her dress-up in front of the open window as "teasing". Despite being married, Kelton was obsessed with her until he finally resolved to attack her. He wore a mask and jumped McCallum at her building and raped her at knifepoint on the stairwell, her fighting enough to cut her hand on Kelton's knife. Congo native Nardalee Ula saw the attack where she was staying, threw Kelton off McCallum and punched him. All three ran off in different directions, with him going back home.

Eventually SVU discovered his role in the attack and arrested him. Kelton tried to defend himself by stating that McCallum and he were in a consensual affair with her always stripping for him. To deter the investigation, he had the sole witness Ula reported on her illegal immigration status. However, A.D.A Alex Cabot was able to get her out to testify against him. Despite his lawyer Roger Kressler trying to contradict her, Kelton was found not guilty on witness tampering and murder but was found guilty on the rape and given the maximum sentence. He was stunned by this news before he was detained. (SVU: "Witness")
