Law and Order

Buddy is a boy who was fathered by pedophile Michael Williams with his captive Kayla Greyland.

Background[]

Buddy was conceived when his mother Kayla was abducted by pedophile Michael Williams. Growing up, he was isolated from the outside world and was taught to see Williams as "Pa", his accomplice April Hendricks as "Ma", Kayla as "Sissy" and the other captive "Auntie". Because he was kept from going outside, he was uneducated and unaware of basic things. However, he was adored by Ma who made sure he was tended to. When he did go outside, Michael would tell the neighbors that Buddy was his girlfriend's nephew, to avoid suspicion.

Imprisoned Lives[]

In 2013, Pa decided to take Buddy to see the city for the first time. He and Pa were walking through Times Square when Buddy saw a man dressed up as Mo-Mo, Buddy ran up and hugged the man before his father told him not to stray from him, but Pa took off after seeing a police presence when he attempted to assault the man, leaving Buddy alone.

The Special Victims Unit came to investigate and asked Buddy where his home, though they discovered how little he knew of the outside world. Eventually, he recalled some details of his home and led them to the correct address. When SVU found a lone victim, Buddy identified her as part of his "family" and discovered that Michael was a monster who had been holding several women captive. When finding Kayla, she revealed that she is in fact the biological mother of Buddy, but he is unaware of the truth. Later, SVU got Hendricks to turn on Pa by giving them a drawing that Buddy made for her, leading to them finding out who he was.

After Michael was arrested, he attempted to justify his vile actions even revealing that Buddy was his son, but the detectives were disgusted by his actions, leading to him being imprisoned, Buddy was reunited with his mother Kayla and the two of them went to live with his maternal grandparents. He was asleep when they arrived at the house, with Kayla wondering how she would raise him to be normal with this new adjustment while Detective Benson assured her it will be fine and wished her and Buddy the best of luck.
