Camryn Manheim (born Debra Frances Manheim) is an actress who portrays Lieutenant Kate Dixon on Law & Order in a main cast role replacing Anita Van Buren. She has also starred as Dixon on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Organized Crime. Prior to joining the main cast, she starred as three different characters on the Law & Order.
She also guest-starred on an episode of New York Undercover as a lawyer; and is best known for her roles on The Practice (with Dylan McDermott, LisaGay Hamilton, Steve Harris, Michael Badalucco, Kelli Williams, and Lara Flynn Boyle), Ghost Whisperer (with Jennifer Love Hewitt, David Conrad, and Jay Mohr), Elvis, Person of Interest (with Michael Emerson, Carrie Preston, Amy Acker, James Carpinello, and Annie Parisse), and Stumptown (with Adrian Martinez).
Her only child, son Milo Jacob Manheim, was born March 6, 2001.
