Carlos Medina is one of two burglars and robbers, along with Alfonso Cardenas, who broke into and robbed the home of an old lady named Lenore Bernstein.
History[]
Carlos and his friend Alfonso were known delinquents and it was known that Carlos was the leader of the pair.
The two broke into the apartment of Lenore Bernstein, as they heard rumors of her having money. Bernstein was tied up with her own pantyhose by the two teen hoodlums, then her apartment was trashed and set on fire after her money and meds were stolen. The boys were caught tying to sell her diuretics to another hoodlum, and all three were arrested, with Medina making the other two not talk.
Cardenas was offered the deal, but Medina shut him up long enough to swoop in and take it to get off scot free. He led the detectives to the rapist and murderer of Lenore, Jimmy Walp, which the teens were suspected of being guilty of. The detectives said they'd send the papers over for Medina's deal, but his ultimate legal fate was left unknown, as Medina was still liable for one of the two heart attacks that killed Lenore.
