Carolyn Laurie Kane is an actress who guest-starred as Gwen Munch in the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episodes "Zebras" and "Wonderland Story", a character she first played in the Homicide: Life on the Street episode "All is Bright" (1997).
Kane starred on the TV sitcom Taxi (with Judd Hirsch and Christopher Lloyd), for which she won two Emmys. She also starred on the TV show Pearl (with Rhea Perlman, Lucy Liu, Kevin Corrigan, Dash Mihok, and Malcolm McDowell) and in such films as Hester Street (with Doris Roberts), Annie Hall (with Tony Roberts), and The Princess Bride (with Cary Elwes, Mandy Patinkin, Fred Savage, and Wallace Shawn). She later starred on the TV show Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (with Jane Krakowski).
