Carrie Baxter is the daughter of Nicholas Baxter.
History[]
At a political event for Baxter's reelection campaign, Carrie and her parents witnessed the murder of Matt Bennett, which was investigated by Detectives Riley and Shaw. After Hector Canseco was arrested for the murder, Carrie approached Baxter and told her that she saw Hector outside their home, stalking them and asking who was inside. Baxter then told EADA Price and ADA Maroun that he is going to put Carrie on the stand, which Julia didn't approve of.
Baxter then met with Carrie and convinced her to testify against Hector as to what she saw when he was stalking them. Carrie eventually agreed to testify, which disappointed Julia. At the trial, Carrie told the court about how Hector had stalked them and frightened her one night. However, Hector's attorney managed to twist it around and brought up Carrie's past with the police. It was revealed that Carrie once was driving drunk and accidentally hit a pedestrian, almost killing them.
Eventually, Hector was found guilty of murder and Baxter's attempted murder and was imprisoned. Baxter then held another campaign event, which Carrie attended. However, Carrie told Baxter that Julia wasn't attending, which upset Baxter. (L&O: "In Harm's Way")
