Carrie Salter was a woman who accidentally ran over a homeless man, Alan Fisher. He died in her car's windshield after Salter did not take him to the hospital.
Her case was dismissed after it was determined that Salter was not responsible for the injuries that directly caused Fisher's death as they were caused by another homeless man, Max Edgars.
