Savants

This category denotes characters throughout the Law & Order franchise with particular expertise in a single field, like mathematics or aural retention, but difficulties in other fields, like spatial recognition or social skills. No distinction is currently made between levels of functionality, or between disorders/syndromes (Williams', Asperger's, Schizophrenia, etc.), nor between criminally-inclined savants (like Gabe Duvall) and more innocuous savants (like Katie Nicholson.)
