Catherine Lisa Bell is an actress who played Naomi Cheales in the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit season 8 episode "Choreographed".
Bell is known for her role of Lieutenant Colonel Sarah "Mac" MacKenzie of the television show JAG from 1997 to 2005 (with Zoe McLellan) and also appears in NCIS: LA. Recently she has starred in the Lifetime Television hit series Army Wives as Denise Sherwood (with Ashanti, Brooke Shields, and Terry Serpico).
In 2003, the actress had a supporting role as a television news anchor in the comedy Bruce Almighty, which starred Jim Carrey. She reprised the role with a cameo in the 2007 sequel Evan Almighty.
In 2006, she was nominated in Saturn Award of Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films for Best Supporting Actress on Television for her role in The Triangle.
Bell is currently stars as Cassandra "Cassie" Nightingale in Hallmark's The Good Witch films (with Chris Potter) and television series since 2008 (with Bailee Madison).
