Chandra Danette Wilson (born August 27, 1969 in Houston, Texas) is an American actress and Director, who guest-starred on Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
She is best known for her role as Dr. Miranda Bailey on Grey's Anatomy (with Ellen Pompeo, T.R. Knight, Jesse Williams, Sarah Drew, Sara Ramirez, Kim Raver, Greg Germann, Brooke Smith, Isaiah Washington, and Kate Walsh) and its spin-off series Private Practice and Station 19.
She directed episodes of Grey's Anatomy, The Fosters, Scandal with (Kerry Washington, Tony Goldwyn, Bellamy Young, Scott Foley and Joe Morton) and The Fosters spin-off sequel Good Trouble.
