Crossovers[]
Chicago Justice did not have a crossover event with the Law & Order franchise like its sister shows Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. However, characters from Chicago Justice went on to appear in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, while former Law & Order franchise actors reprised their roles on Chicago Justice.
Philip Winchester, who played Assistant State's Attorney Peter Stone, the son of Benjamin Stone, appeared as a main character in the second half of SVU's nineteenth season, as well as all of its twentieth season. Carl Weathers, who played State's Attorney Mark Jefferies, guest-starred as that same character in the latter season as well.
Defense Attorney William O'Boyle ("See Something" - "Fool Me Twice") appeared in SVU's Season 20: "Caretaker", and Defense Attorney James Olson ("Friendly Fire") appeared in SVU's Season 19: "Service".
Shambala Green appears in the Chicago P.D. backdoor pilot, representing the boy who nearly killed a police officer. Danielle Melnick moves to Chicago and is elevated to the position of Judge, and Paul Robinette defends Officer Kevin Atwater following the arrest and death of a young man.
