Plot[]

When gorgeous model Danielle Masoner dies in Central Park, Elliot follows the lead to a homeless man who turns out to be a witness to Danielle's death. He is partnered up with Olivia (who is back from undercover) and during the investigation, they discover that Danielle's husband Wesley was having an affair with one of their friends, Naomi Cheales, which makes them think that Wesley is responsible for his wife's death, but then suspicion soon turns toward Naomi's husband, Glenn, who was keeping a close eye on his wife.

Quotes[]

Warner: So, you're working this alone?
Stabler: Yeah.
Warner: Where's Detective Beck?
Stabler: Uh, Dani went back to warrants.
Warner: You gettin' another partner soon?
Stabler: They've run out.

Stabler: You offering to be my partner?
Cragen: I'm not your type
Stabler: [grins] I don't know, maybe I'd have better luck with a guy. All these women keep leaving me.
Cragen: You may have another chance?
Stabler: [Stabler turns around to face him, surprised] Dani change her mind?
Cragen: No. Olivia's back.

Steve: Why you gotta be so rough?
Stabler: Cause you still got one arm left to break.
Benson: You know, my partner's got a real anger management problem. I thought he had it under control, but apparently, I was wrong.
[Stabler looks at Benson]
Stabler: Well, trust me, I've had a bad couple of weeks here.
Benson: [to Steve] Seriously, he will break your arm.

[after claiming his former houseguest's injuries were sustained in a drug-related accident]
Wesley Masoner: He tripped down the stairs, in every sense of the word.

[Leaving a house where the wife told Benson one version and the husband told Stabler another version]
Olivia Benson: So you get an affair, I get a fairy tale.
Stabler: I wonder what Dani would have said.
[Olivia looks at Elliot]
Benson: Dani?
Stabler: The victim.
Benson: Danielle.
Stabler: That's what I just said. Is something bothering you?
Benson: No.

Geneva Dworkin: I don't date guys, and nobody ever calls me Gen. [looks Olivia over] What's your name?
Benson: Detective.

Warner: [looks at Elliot] So you're recycling old partners.
Benson: Old?
Warner: Welcome back, Liv.

[to Olivia]
Munch: Hey Liv. I should have brought some welcome-back cupcakes.

[regarding death threats]
Munch: That's why none of my four ex-wives ever made good on their threats. There's nothing to inherit.
Stabler: Except your Warren Commission memorabilia.

Stella Danquis: How do you jump from adultery to murder?
Stabler: The dieldrin under your sink, you telling Naomi you'll be a free man soon...
Wesley Masoner: Well I didn't mean it like that, damn it!
Stella Danquis: [sharply] Enough, darling.

Stella Danquis: The dieldrin could've been left by a previous tenant. The Masoners only moved in about eight months ago.
Stabler: Do the juries actually buy these fairytales you tell?
Stella Danquiss: [smiles] Like I'm Tinkerbell.

Stabler: [about Stella Danquiss] Man, I tell you, she leaves, the room temperature goes up five degrees.

Agent Hellerman: Hey, I got a wild idea. How about you and me--
Benson: You should save your energy for fighting terrorists.

[police have learned that Glenn Cheales implanted an RFID chip in his wife's shoulder]
Elliot Stabler: High-tech way of keeping tabs on your cheating wife. Guy invented a ho-jack.

Munch: Technology's made it so much easier to spy on people, family, even strangers.
Stabler: Not everybody's a snoop.
Munch: No? Do you use Spyware to find out what sites your kids visit online? Do you?
Stabler: My kids don't go online unless I know where they're going.
Munch: Exactly, you call it being a concerned parent, I call it Big Brother.

Stabler: You like to play with needles? You should learn to sterilize them.
Glenn Cheales: What's wrong with her?
Benson: She's septic. Now start talking.
Glenn Cheales: You don't understand, she has a liver condition.
Benson: We know all about it, now talk.

Naomi Cheales: How long has this chip been in my shoulder?
Cheales: 3 weeks. One night before bed, I drugged your tea and injected you.
Cheales: Why did you do this?
Cheales: I thought you were cheating on me. [sad smile] I was right. [coldly]
Cheales: Do you feel better?

Stabler: You're out of line, Casey.
Novak: What's your excuse?
Benson: Are you through with the character assassination?

Benson: Love's a bitch.
Stabler: Tell me about it.
Benson: You know, we've been partners all these years. I don't even know your blood type.
Stabler: A-positive.
Benson: How 'bout that? Me too.
[beat]
Stabler: I'd give you a kidney.
Benson: Not if I gave you mine first
