Chris Bauer (born Mark Christopher Bauer) is an actor who played nine different characters in Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: True Crime, and Conviction.
He is known for his starring roles on the NBC series Third Watch (with Jason Wiles, Skipp Sudduth, Anthony Ruivivar, Bobby Cannavale, Molly Price, Kim Raver, Michael Beach, and Amy Carlson), the HBO series True Blood (with Michael Raymond-James, Lynn Collins, Lois Smith, Mehcad Brooks, Deborah Ann Woll, Denis O'Hare, Lindsay Pulsipher, Scott Foley, Christopher Meloni, Robert Patrick, and Amelia Rose Blaire), The Deuce (with Emily Meade, Chris Coy, and Luke Kirby), and Heels (with Mary McCormack).
He later stars as Stan in the Amazon Freevee comedy series Sprung (with Garret Dillahunt, Martha Plimpton, and Kate Walsh).
