Chrissy Baker is the wife of Tommy Baker.
Background[]
Chrissy and Tommy knew each other for years and considered each other their best friend. Eventually, they got married and Tommy became a fighter to uphold the family name. In truth, Tommy was gay, while Chrissy was well aware of his sexuality but accepting. Despite this, they remained together and cared deeply for each other.
When Tommy was injured in a fight, he met a man named Phil Diaz in his time of recovery and a relationship between them was initiated. During this time, Chrissy became lonely before she got involved with a man named Ricky Nowak, a charmer who took advantage of her and conned Chrissy into lavishing him with expensive gifts. Upon his recovery, Tommy warned Chrissy about Ricky, but Chrissy was desperate for affection that she disregarded this notion.
Tommy Baker's Hardest Fight[]
The day before his latest match, Chrissy stood by Tommy while he spoke with the managers about the arrangement and watched him take on his new opponent. The very same night, Tommy was found unconscious inside of a car and was transported to the hospital. Chrissy tended to Tommy while he was still unconscious. When SVU detectives investigating all the people connected to Tommy, Chrissy was one of them and she admitted she was well aware of his sexuality but stilled loved him.
SVU caught a break when they discovered that Chrissy was involved with Ricky, as well as looked into his financials. Chrissy was questioned by the detectives, as she denied ordering Ricky to attack Tommy but admitted that she only wanted to feel wanted and Tommy warned her of Ricky, as she sadly realized that Ricky might be the culprit after he goes on the run. It became apparent to the detectives that Chrissy was innocent, and they had her go back to Tommy but accompanied by a police escort.
In the end, Ricky was arrested along with Phil who participated in the attack after Tommy refused to leave Chrissy. Once Tommy regained consciousness and recovered from his injuries, Chrissy and her father-in-law Duke watched Tommy's live message, where he officially came out. She was seen proud of her husband voicing how the attack gave him the strength to be who he really is.
