Chuck Mosley is a basketball teammate and student at St. Raymond's University.

He became one of the suspects in the rape and murder of Jeanne Gallagher. Fearing he was being racially discriminated for being black, he called upon support from Reverend Al Sharpton. Further into the investigation, even Sharpton conceded to a begrudged Mosley needing to offer a sample to clear his name.
Mosley was cleared, as Riley Couger raped her two months before her death, which was no murder but an accident. Professor James Henri Rousseau, her on-campus stalker, then raped her corpse. After Couger and Rousseau were arrested, Detective John Munch personally apologized to Mosley for suspecting him, who warmly settle their differences with him and shook his hand. Mosley then transfer to another college for a fresh start and Munch wishes him luck. (SVU: "Sophomore Jinx")
