Cicely Tyson (December 19, 1924-January 28, 2021) was an actress who guest-starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the episode "Hell" as Ondine Burdett.
Tyson won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for her role in The Trip to Bountiful. She was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in 1973 for the movie Sounder. She had starred on the TV show Sweet Justice (with Ronny Cox and Greg Germann).
