Clete Dixon is a retired cop and a former colleague of Captain Danny Ross, who consults in the murder of registered sex offender Kyle Jones. Dixon believed Jones' murder to be the work of a serial killer, citing several deaths of men in New York City to be connected.
Even in spite of Dixon being told the M.O.s didn't fit and even one death was ruled a suicide, Dixon pretended to take it lightly, only to publicize the case on Faith Yancy's talk show. Dixon was proven wrong by tracking Jones' killers, Ricky Moss and Lou Olsen, who were arrested after Moss was manipulated into shamelessly confessing. (CI: "Neighborhood Watch")
