Courtney B. Vance is an actor who played Assistant District Attorney Ron Carver in the first five seasons from Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

He also played roles in Law & Order. He appeared in the season one episode "By Hooker, By Crook" as the Mayor's aide, and in the season five episode "Rage" as Benjamin Greer.

Since leaving Criminal Intent, Vance has gotten a recurring role on the ABC series Flash Forward.
