Cybil Lynne Shepherd is an actress who is known for her roles on the TV shows Moonlighting (with Allyce Beasley and Curtis Armstrong) and her own sitcom Cybil (with Christine Baranski and Alicia Witt). Her breakthrough film role was Jacy Farrow in The Last Picture Show (with Ellen Burstyn), a film directed by Peter Bogdanovich whom she was in a romantic relationship with from 1971 to 1978. She later starred in the films The Heartbreak Kid (with Charles Grodin), Taxi Driver, and the 1990 film Alice (with Alec Baldwin). She also played Martha Stewart in two TV movies, Martha, Inc.: The Story of Martha Stewart and Martha: Behind Bars, and starred on the show The Client List (with Jennifer Love Hewitt).
In 2013, she guest-starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the episode "American Tragedy" as Jolene Castille.
