Quotes[]
- Ed Green: I'm feeling lucky.
- Lennie Briscoe: Last time I got lucky, it was 1986.
- Ed Green: Visa reciept in the name of Arlene Pulaski.
- Lennie Briscoe: I love it when they're stupid.
- Briscoe: Blood. Wow, probably 10, 15 grand here.
- Green: Where'd you get it, Bobby?
- Ward: Bite me!
- Briscoe: Go ahead. Bite him.
- McCoy: What goes on inside you when you look at your wife? Knowing that you did it for nothing. Knowing that she'd rather die than acknowledge it was you.
- Defense Attorney: We're not pleading Mr. McCoy.
- McCoy: Why the hell didn't you just divorce her? Was the wound to your ego so big that she had to die?
- Walter Grobman: I want it over.
- Defense Attorney: Walter...
- Walter Grobman: I want it over! I did it! I did it! I killed her. I did it!
- Defense Attorney: Walter, shut up!
- Walter Grobman: I did it! I can't take it anymore. I want it over!
- Walter Grobman: No, what about my wife? You have fixed it so that she can't win her application, she'll be like... she'll be like that... that... she'll...
- Carmichael: Civil court won't get word of Judge Pongracic's decision for weeks. It can all be over before then. We won't oppose her application.
- Schiff: Denise Grobman passed away an hour ago.
- Carmichael: Was her husband with her?
- Schiff: Yes.
- McCoy: I hope he takes that image with him to prison.
Background information and notes[]
- The acronym "DNR" in the title is a shortening of the medical term "Do Not Resuscitate", which is a common order of signed warrant by a patient or the next person with as immediate of responsibility of a decision on whether to restore the patient if they end up in critical condition or to leave the patient to pass away by removal of their life support.
- The episode was later adapted into the Law & Order: UK episode "Denial".
