Dana Welles Delany (born March 13, 1956 in New York City, New York) is an actress who guest-starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the episode "Obscene" as Carolyn Spencer.
She is best known for her roles on China Beach (with Michael Boatman and Chloe Webb) as Nurse Colleen McMurphy, Desperate Housewives as Katherine Mayfair (with Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman, Andrea Bowen, Brenda Strong, Cody Kasch and Richard Burgi), Body of Proof as Megan Hunt (with Jeri Ryan, Geoffrey Arend, and Sonja Sohn), and the Amazon drama series Hand of God(with Garret Dillahunt) as Crystal Harris. She also portrayed Jill in Live Nude Girls (with Olivia d'Abo and Laila Robins) and Colonel Glenn Turnbull in the short-lived CBS legal drama The Code (with Ato Essandoh and Anna Wood).
She voiced Bagheera in the Russian animated feature-length film story The Adventures of Mowgli, Andrea Beaumont in the American animated film Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (with Stacy Keach and Abe Vigoda), and Margaret Rosenblatt in the animated Cartoon Network television film Firebreather. She also voiced Lois Lane in Superman: The Animated Series (with Tim Daly, Clancy Brown, and George Dzundza), which she reprised in the animated series Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, and The Batman as well as the animated direct-to-video films Superman: Brainiac Attacks and Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox; in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, she voiced the two respective characters Maggie Sawyer and Loana.
