Danai Gurira (born February 14, 1978 in Grinnell, Iowa) is an American actress who guest-starred on Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Gurira is known to television audiences as Michionne (a character voiced by Samira Wiley in the The Walking Dead: Michonne video game) on The Walking Dead (featuring Sarah Wayne Callies, Lauren Cohan, Norman Reedus, Seth Gilliam, and Steven Yeun) and its spin-off The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live and film audiences as Okoye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Black Panther (with Chadwick Boseman, Winston Duke, Michael B. Jordan, and Sebastian Stan), Avengers: Infinity War (with Boseman, Duke, Stan, Bradley Cooper, Idris Elba, Anthony Mackie, Zoe Saldana, and Benedict Wong), and Avengers: Endgame (with same cast as Infinity War along with Frank Grillo, Maximiliano Hernández, and John Slattery).
