While investigating the murder of Henry King, Vertiz gained access to footage that showed King having an argument with Jamie Ross, an ADA who used to work with DA Jack McCoy. She showed this footage to Detectives Bernard and Cosgrove and Lieutenant Dixon. (L&O: "The Right Thing")

While investigating the murder of a young man found inside a suitcase, Vertiz managed to get surveillance footage of Senator Jack Nathan leaving an event hosted by Kyle Swanson. As a result, Nathan was questioned by Cosgrove and Bernard before Swanson was labeled as a suspect. (L&O: "Wicked Game")
