Danielle McCaskin is a high-school teacher and the mistress of her underage student Keith Tyler.

Danielle had an illicit affair with her student Keith Tyler, out of despondence with her marriage to her husband Jack. When Keith's lecherous father Grant Tyler found out she was having an affair with Keith, he blackmailed her into having sex with him and recorded the two of them having sex. Disgusted at being manipulated, Danielle found out about him recording their sex, so she decides to kill him by talking Keith into sabotaging Grant's motorcycle as a prank, but it stopped while on the road and flew Grant into a fence where he was fatally impaled.
Jack and Danielle are prime suspects, until Major Case finds Danielle and Keith having sex in a car to avoid prosecution, they put on disguises and try to cross over to Canada with fake IDs. Once caught, Keith confesses to the manslaughter and is arrested. Danielle wants to save Keith from prison time, so she agreed to a guilty plea and her own prison time in exchange for Keith's freedom. Keith wanted Danielle to not go through with it because she was pregnant, but was devastated at her revealing the child was revealed to be Grant's.
Danielle was found guilty of statutory rape and for orchestrating Grant's murder and is imprisoned. (CI: "Tru Love")
