David Steadman is a serial sexual harasser despite being married and the original suspect in the murder of Jennifer Walton, his mistress.
He had an injury on his hand from when he smashed her door, but he was found innocent of the killing when more murders by serial killer Arthur Blessard, Jennifer's killer, were committed and connected.
Steadman also had an alibi of being treated for his hand wound when Jennifer was killed, where he harassed the nurse. He revealed his alibi when being intimidated by Stabler as he was pinned against the wall. (SVU: "Redemption")
